Ola!

Ola!

While I’m writing this blog I’m enjoying the sun in Spain, sitting on our big terrace in shorts and a t-shirt. We just finished a training, so I’m really loving this moment of relaxation. After this long winter without sunshine I could really use some Vitamine D. Yesterday we flew from Amsterdam to Madrid and from there we drove 4 hours with the bus to León. So we arrived very late yesterday evening, but the city here is great.

Off course the atmosphere in the team is great after the victory last Wednesday, especially because in that way we continued our winning spirit from the last World Championship. To win with 10 goals from Spain is incredible and it was a great team effort. We notice the progress our team is making and you can see we improved so much in the last months. Also it was great to play in front of so many people in our own country. This success makes us hungry for more. Tomorrow we can qualify for the European Championship and that’s the first step.

As promised I would write a little bit about my transfer to Issy Paris next season. Last Tuesday it became official that next season I will join the team in Paris and I received a lot of nice messages. I’m really looking forward to a new step in my career and I think we’ll get a pretty strong team next season. The league in France is strong so every week you have to play tough but exciting matches. And it’s perfect that Paris is central, so you never have to travel so much to the games. That will be completely different than Romania where we normally travel around 8 hours with the bus. Most of the time we’re spending 3 days of traveling for just one game. For sure it’s hard to leave the fantastic atmosphere in Baia Mare, the Champions League matches are the highlights of my week, and I will really miss that. It’s not sure yet how we’ll play international next year in Issy, but there will be great ambitions to achieve some nice things. Especially individually I think I can develop myself even more there, also one of the goals from the club.

First I’m focussing on the Olympic qualification and the quarter finals with Baia Mare in the Champions League. The season is not finished yet and although right now I’m dreaming of more sun, I can’t wait to finish the season successfully! But I’m sure that will work out just right 🙂

Ola!

Congrats! +10 against Spain. It’s showing that World Championship was not just a glitch!

For sure, Allisson Pineau should have talked to you about France ans probably so did the Dutch girls who play (played) there.
Yes, Issy is a small and young team, but with a very big fighting spirit. You won’t play Champions League but you’re still pretty young. And like you’e been told, you’ll have to fight hard every single team, een the team that will come from second division… ask Allisson Pineau about her next team Brest!

If you can include French lessons in your current schedule, do not hesitate, It’s better to arrie prepared and you neer now if the new coach is speaking english or dutch! BTW did you use a translator engine for the Romanian part of your blog ?

Hoi Lois,

Als trotse vader wil ik je graag verwijzen naar deze link;

Succes,

Jan-Huibert Boll
