Ola!
Op het moment dat ik dit schrijf zit ik lekker op ons balkonnetje in de Spaanse zon, voldaan na een training in de hal. Maar dan wel gewoon in een korte broek en t-shirt! Ik kon echt wel wat vitamine D gebruiken na al die maanden zonder zon. Gister zijn we vanaf Amsterdam naar Madrid gevlogen en vanaf daar moesten we nog dik 4 uur in de bus naar León. We kwamen dus gisteravond pas heel erg laat in het hotel hier, maar we zitten op een mooie plek.
De sfeer is natuurlijk heel relaxed nu we weer zo goed zijn begonnen na het succesvolle WK. Spanje inmaken met 10 doelpunten verschil is natuurlijk niet zo vanzelfsprekend, maar we merken echt dat we enorme stappen vooruit gegaan zijn in de laatste maanden. En het was ontzettend gaaf om zoveel fans in Nederland te zien. Dit succes smaakt echt alleen nog maar naar meer. Morgen kunnen we ons definitief plaatsen voor het EK, dat is de eerste stap.
Maar zoals beloofd zou ik natuurlijk wat schrijven over mijn overstap naar Issy Paris, wat afgelopen dinsdag bekend werd. Ik verheug me heel erg op een nieuwe stap in mijn carrière en ik denk dat we volgend jaar een heel sterk team krijgen. De Franse competitie is ook een sterke competitie, waardoor het weer elk weekend hele pittige, maar leuke wedstrijden worden. Ook ligt Parijs zo centraal dat je nooit lang hoeft te reizen voor de wedstrijden. Dat wordt een heel verschil met nu in Roemenië, waar ik bijna standaard busreizen heb van rond de 8 uur en waarvoor we ook altijd bijna drie dagen onderweg zijn. Ik vind het wel heel erg jammer om de fantastische sfeer in de hal van Baia Mare achter me te laten. De Champions League wedstrijden zijn daar echt het hoogtepunt van de week en dat ga ik zeker missen. Het is natuurlijk niet zeker hoe Issy Paris volgend jaar internationaal gaat spelen, maar er zit zeker een grote ambitie om daar mooie dingen te bereiken. Ik denk vooral dat ik me individueel nog heel veel kan ontwikkelen daar, iets waar de club ook voor staat.
Eerst hebben we volgende week nog de Olympische kwalificatie en dan nog de twee belangrijke kwartfinales in de Champions League met Baia Mare. Het seizoen is nog lang niet afgelopen en hoewel ik nu op dit moment in Spanje stiekem droom van nog meer zon, hoop ik het heel succesvol te beëindigen. Maar dat moet gaan lukken!

While I’m writing this blog I’m enjoying the sun in Spain, sitting on our big terrace in shorts and a t-shirt. We just finished a training, so I’m really loving this moment of relaxation. After this long winter without sunshine I could really use some Vitamine D. Yesterday we flew from Amsterdam to Madrid and from there we drove 4 hours with the bus to León. So we arrived very late yesterday evening, but the city here is great.
Off course the atmosphere in the team is great after the victory last Wednesday, especially because in that way we continued our winning spirit from the last World Championship. To win with 10 goals from Spain is incredible and it was a great team effort. We notice the progress our team is making and you can see we improved so much in the last months. Also it was great to play in front of so many people in our own country. This success makes us hungry for more. Tomorrow we can qualify for the European Championship and that’s the first step.
As promised I would write a little bit about my transfer to Issy Paris next season. Last Tuesday it became official that next season I will join the team in Paris and I received a lot of nice messages. I’m really looking forward to a new step in my career and I think we’ll get a pretty strong team next season. The league in France is strong so every week you have to play tough but exciting matches. And it’s perfect that Paris is central, so you never have to travel so much to the games. That will be completely different than Romania where we normally travel around 8 hours with the bus. Most of the time we’re spending 3 days of traveling for just one game. For sure it’s hard to leave the fantastic atmosphere in Baia Mare, the Champions League matches are the highlights of my week, and I will really miss that. It’s not sure yet how we’ll play international next year in Issy, but there will be great ambitions to achieve some nice things. Especially individually I think I can develop myself even more there, also one of the goals from the club.
First I’m focussing on the Olympic qualification and the quarter finals with Baia Mare in the Champions League. The season is not finished yet and although right now I’m dreaming of more sun, I can’t wait to finish the season successfully! But I’m sure that will work out just right 🙂

În timp ce vă scriu asta mă bucur de soare, în Spania, stând pe terasă în pantaloni și tricou cu mânecă scurtă. Doar ce am terminat antrenamentul, așa că iubesc acest moment de relaxare. După o iarnă lungă, fără soare, chiar aveam nevoie de puțină vitamină D. Ieri am zburat din Amsterdam la Madrid și de acolo alte 4 ore cu autocarul până la Leon. Am ajuns târziu aseară, dar nu am putut să nu observăm frumusețea orașului.
Bineînțeles că atmosfera la echipă este minunată după victoria de miercuri, mai ales pentru că ne-am continuat spiritul învingător de la Campionatul Mondial. Să bați Spania la 10 goluri este incredibil și a necesitat un mare efort de echipă. Progresul nostru se observă și puteți vedea multe îmbunătățiri față de lunile precedente. De asemenea, a fost minunat să jucăm în fața unui public splendid, în țara noastră. Sucesul ne face să ne dorim mai mult. Mâine ne putem califica pentru Campionatul European și acesta ar fi doar primul pas.
După cum v-am promis, o să vă împărtășesc puțin despre transferul meu la Issy Paris începând cu sezonul viitor. Marți s-a oficializat transferul meu la echipa din Paris și am primit multe mesaje frumoase de la voi. Abia aștept să fac acest următor pas în cariera mea și consider că echipa va fi destul de puternică sezonul viitor. Liga franceză este grea și aproape în fiecare săptămână sunt meciuri grele. Un alt avantaj este faptul că Paris este un oraș situat în zonă centrală, ceea ce înseamnă că deplasările vor fi mai scurte. Va fi complet diferit față de România, unde în mod normal mergeam cam 8 ore cu autocarul pentru un meci. De cele mai multe ori pierdeam 3 zile doar călătorind pentru un meci. Desigur, este greu să părăsesc atmosfera minunată din Baia Mare, meciurile din Champions League… chiar îmi va fi dor. Încă nu e sigur cum vom juca în cupe internaționale alături de Issy, dar sunt ambișii mari pentru a dobândi lucruri mărețe. Individual, cred că voi putea să mă dezvolt mai bine acolo.
Dar mai întâi mă concentrez pe calificarea la Jocurile Olimpice și pe sferturile de finală ale Champions League cu Baia Mare. Sezonul nu e terminat încă și îmi doresc mai mult soare. Abia aștept să terminăm sezonul cu succes. Sunt sigură că vom face o treabă bună!
