Een belangrijke wedstrijd voor de kwalificatie
Morgenavond om 19:00 uur spelen we in Loiret de belangrijke Champions League wedstrijd tegen Fleury. We zijn nog steeds in de race om de kwartfinales te bereiken, maar om daar zicht op te blijven houden moeten we morgen winnen. Aangezien Fleury vorige week verrassend won van Larvik staan we nu met drie ploegen op nummer 3 in Groep 1 en zoals bekend gaan de eerste vier van de poule naar de kwartfinale. Er telt dus echt maar één ding: winnen!
Donderdagochtend na de training zijn we al richting Cluj vertrokken om daar te overnachten voor de vroege vlucht op vrijdagochtend richting Parijs. Vanaf daar was het nog drie uurtjes met de bus naar het hotel in de buurt van Orleans. Gistermiddag hebben we ongeveer de hele middag geslapen en ’s avonds nog een training gehad. Iedereen was behoorlijk moe van de reis. Vanochtend na het ontbijt hebben we zoals altijd video gekeken van Fleury en daarna ben ik met Alexandra vertrokken richting het centrum van Orleans. Het is altijd lekker om even wat anders te doen dan de hele tijd in het hotel te zitten. Helaas heeft het de afgelopen dagen hier non stop geregend, maar gelukkig wisten we een overdekt winkelcentrum te vinden 🙂 Het centrum van Orleans kende ik al een beetje doordat ik er, een aantal jaar geleden, een paar dagen van mijn vakantie heb doorgebracht. Vanavond hadden we dan de laatste training en morgen moet het gebeuren. Het wordt 60 minuten vechten voor de winst. Gelukkig is het, zoals altijd, weer te zien op ehftv.com!
An important game for qualifying
Tomorrow evening at 19:00 o’clock we’ll play the important game against Fleury in the Champions League. We are still heading towards the ¼ final, but we absolutely must win to keep going there. Since Fleury, surprisingly, won against Larvik last week we’re now with three teams at the third place in group 1. Four teams will go to the last eight, so we really need a victory here.
We already started our travel on Thursday when we travelled to Cluj after the training. We stayed there for the night since our flight on Friday morning to Paris was so early. From the airport in Paris it was another three hours with the bus to the hotel, just a little bit outside the centre of Orleans. When we arrived here we were pretty exhausted so we slept almost the entire day. In the evening we had training and after that it was again time to sleep early. Today started with breakfast and a video meeting, where we analysed the game at home with Fleury, and after that I went to the centre of Orleans with Alexandra. It’s always nice to do something else than sitting in the hotel, so we were happy to get some fresh air. Unfortunately the last few days it have been raining here non stop, so we needed to find some shopping mall, in which we succeeded off course 🙂 I remember a little bit of the city in Orleans since I spend, several years ago, a few days here on my holidays. A few hours ago we had the last training and tomorrow it has to happen. We will fight 60 minutes with just one goal: winning. Un meci cât o calificare!
Mâine seară, începând cu ora 19:00 (20:00 ora României) o să jucăm un meci important împotriva celor de la Fleury în Champions League. Încă suntem în cursă pentru sferturile de finală, dar o victorie mâine ne-ar ușura situația. Cum Fleury a învins în mod surprinzător la Larvik, suntem acum 3 echipe pe locul trei în Grupa 1, iar având în vedere faptul că 4 echipe vor avansa în faza următoare, chiar avem nevoie de victorie mâine. Am început călătoria noastră joi, deplasându-ne la Cluj Napoca după antrenament. Am rămas în frumosul oraș de pe malul Someșului peste noapte, având în vedere că zborul către Paris a fost vineri dimineața, foarte devreme. De la aeroportul din Paris am mai făcut trei ore cu autocarul până la hotelul nostru, în zona centrală din Orleans. Când am ajuns la hotel, ne-am simțit extenuate, așa că am dormit aproape toată ziua. Seara am avut parte de un antrenament, după care am mers la somn devreme. În această dimineață am făcut ședința video, analiza jocului de acasă cu Fleury, iar după am mers cu Alexandra în centrul Orleans-ului. Este frumos să faci și altceva în afară de a sta în hotel, deci am fost foarte fericite să facem o mică plimbare. Din păcate, în ultimele zile a plouat aici non-stop, așa că am căutat un mall. Îmi amintesc puțin orașul Orleans având în vedere faptul că în urmă cu ceva ani am petrecut o vacanță de câteva zile aici. În urmă cu câteva ore am avut ultimul antrenament, iar mâine… Victoria!
